Band Parents - The key to a successful band! 


If you have a student in the Dr. Phillips High School Band Program, you are a band parent! We need your help to ensure that our band members are able to be successful. We need help at Band Camp, Home and Away Games, Concerts, and more! We expect each band parent to volunteer on at least 5 different events each year. As we have 250 members, 3 directors is simply not enough! Additionally, one of our biggest fundraiser opportunities each year is selling concessions at both Junior Varsity and Varsity Football Games. We need help at each one of these games with selling concessions, food prep, grilling, etc. 

Step by Step Instructions for signing up to volunteer with the band: 

STEP 1: First and foremost, every parent that volunteers during the school year must be OCPS Additions Approved, in order to keep all of our students safe.

Step 3: Sign up for any current volunteer opportunities below! You may also sign up for our parent volunteer remind by texting @dpbandvol to 81010.
